The moon was not sighted, but in Adelaide some already began fasting today, others will start tomorrow and the remainder will begin on Monday.
I'm one of those who'll be fasting tomorrow insha-Allah... I wish we'd all start on the same day, but since the majority are starting tomorrow I'm going with the majority. |

YEA i also got a sms from alghazali centre that they didnt sight the moon and fasting will begin on Mon...But i thort i mite also ask u guys in here.... so it wasnt sighted hey! Oh well Allah knows BEST!!! MAY ALLAH ACCEPT OUR FASTS!!!

This month has been long awaited for and the calm and happy atmosphere can be felt already! Queensland is starting to fast tomorrow, and yeah I've started fasting today because eventhough the moon hasn't been sighted I'm going by the month coz Shaban ended yesterday --------------------  |

Both Marion and Wandana mosques started fasting yesterday and the Al-Khalil mosque is starting today, and I think I heard that Adelaide mosque is starting today also.

i heard adelaide mosque started fasting yesterday (saturday) as well....? we started fasting today..

If anyone can get down to Al Khalil for tarawih, Sheikh Amin gives some very short talks (5-10 mins) in between tarawih and it's some very inspiring stuff. Yesterday he spoke about the story of the last man to enter Jannah, and the poorest man in Jannah (he has the wealth of a king in this wolrd, multiplied 10 times over) and it was awesome stuff and awesome stories. The night before that he spoke about how ramadan is a guage for our own state of Iman, the happier you are that Ramadan is arriving, the higher your Iman, and if (waliathubillah) ramadan makes you feel annoyed, frustrated, or similar feelings in your heart then these are the signs of hypocricy. May Allah SWT accept all our good deedds during this month, and forgive all our sins, and make us of those who strive to earn His favour in sha Allah. Wassalamu Alaikum -------------------- Aoothu Billahi Min Ashaitan Arrajeem. Bismillahirrahmanirraheem
