I'd just like to thank all of the youthemerged Staff, helpers and camp organizers for putting on such a great camp  . So mashallah for doing such a grand job  .I guess this thread can be for anything from camp:  like your favourite challenges or interesting things that happened while at camp. Alhamdulillah, what a blast eh?
 I just got home and can't wait to catch up on sleep, but I had to make a post and inshallah everyone else will have something to say when they see this! I had a great sleep last night!
 Camp was GREAT  and thanks to all the people who put so much effort into making the camp excellent and also br Mahmoud, his talks were really good as well! The challenges were so fun and I wonder how they could make all that equipment! |

I had a GREAT sleep too dis morning. the camp was GREAT too but nxt time dont give us so much time to wait inbetween the challenges coz i got sleepy just before the challenges few times sooo...thereit was great meeting new sistas too Assalamu Allaikum all -------------------- |

CamP Was AWESOME
i'm still recovering from the natural hype u get from camp lol..... haha i came home and fell asleep like....instantly... Thanks heaps to the youthemerged team all your hardwork paid off, hmmm i'm getting sick of the city....lol im still tryingg to get used to all the traffic, all the lights , the tv, computer. plus has any1 noticed how there's hardly any stars compared to the country? hmm all the challenges were so goooood, especially the final challenge when i smashed my bros tile,hahah im still paying him out about it,and the tribal councils( lol sara) haha im still trying to adapt to seeing only a few people, and i still keep thinking that i'm going to go to Br Mahmoud's talks, mashallah his talks gave me so much knowledge plus they were funny!!! lol i miss all my sistahs, and im still trying to figure out who Her Reflection is.....whos is she? now i cant wait until the video night..... thats enough from me assalamu alaikum magrifa |

I think we all feel the same. I met a few bros at Adelaide Masjid for jumma yesterday and everyone was feeling it, we were all wearing the same expression! It was like a reunion after a long time when it had only been less than a day! Subhanallah!

Yes, inshallah there will be a video night, but not anytime soon... also we're not going to show the entire video that night, only a "highlights" kind of segment. The complete edited video will be able to be bought and taken home that night too. More details to come when we begin work on it!

Well where do i start?!  Theres just so much to say about the camp  ..good things though First of all may Allah swt reward all the camp organizers and everybody who helped in any sort of way in organising such a briliant camp!!! I can`t wait till the next one!!  I had so much fun...  I loved every bit of the camp!! From education in the morning to the entertainment and munabihat in the evening!..most people would say how education in the morning was either boring or they were tired and couldn't be stuffed listening to it, i can actually say that i LOVED the education talks!! They would wake me up in the morning and I learnt so much from them!!   Now the challenges!I liked all the challenges except the ones my team lost  ..just kidding I loved all of them whether we won or lost! B4 I finish well done to those who put together all the challenges am sure it took a lot of time and effort!! Tribal council!I also liked tribal council and all the changing cabins technique although at the beginning I didn`t really like it!  But like someone said the changing cabins is good because we kept our cabins clean and we got to meet new ppl!!  ...wat else did we do at camp?! ...well someone else can finish this post off am really tired and am going to sleep now.... once again JazakAllah and may Allah swt reward all those organisors for putting together such an amazing camp! ....am looking forward to the next one Also JazakAllah to br Mahmud for the amazing talks he gave us during our time at camp! I love muslim camps, and there is always a really sad feeling when you leave the camp and the muslim environment...sometimes that feeling lasts for weeks, and sometimes until the next camp!!!

Speaking of education, how often do you go to a camp and have such amazingly interesting and stimulating education start at 6am and go all the way until 3am?
Its amazing how we all functioned with less than 2 hours sleep each day The last munabihat session Br. Mahmud held for us started after 1am, remember that? Subhanallah it was so worth staying up for! Alhamdulillah we've got almost everything on tape, can't wait to watch, re-watch and make more notes on all that Br. Mahmud said. I miss looking up at the night sky and seeing the spectacular starscape. In the day you'd hear so many different types of birds around, it was a real treat! For the three of us on bikes, cycling to everything was something different, but woah, it was great... subhanallah on the last day my front tyre suffered a puncture and my sunglasses sustained a scratch when transporting the tiles around, but it seems each camp I attend, one of my material possesions gets damanged in some way hehe. |

rooz, the 3 bicycles were used to get around the campsite for the organisers.
anyway, i loved the camp and had a great time. all the girls were great, and hilarious as well. challenges were the highlight definitely!!! thanks to everyone!! -------------------- |
