On the authority of Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
I visited the Holy Prophet  when he had fever. I said to him:"Messenger of Allah! You have a very high fever." He said: "indeed, the intensity of my fever is equivalent to two persons." I said: "That is because you have twice the recompensation." He said: "That is so." He further added: "when a Muslim gets hurt with any harmful thing such as the prick of a thorn, or even more than this, Allah wipes out in its place some of his minor sins which fall away from him as leaves shed from a tree."(Bukhari and Muslim) -------------------- "Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are."
